Virtual Bible Study
We invite you to join our Virtual Bible Study on the YouVersion Bible App. This is an asynchronous study, providing the opportunity to explore meaningful insights and experience the joy of communal learning from the convenience of your device. Follow the instructions below to get started!
Step 1: Download YouVersion
Download the YouVersion Bible App by clicking this link.
Step 2: Choose The Journey
Once YouVersion is downloaded on your device, tap Discover and search for The Journey Church of Hudson Valley under churches. Choose Set As My Church. If you don’t already have an account with YouVersion, you will be prompted to create one at this point.
Step 3: Accept Friend Request
Once you set The Journey Church of Hudson Valley as your church, you will receive a friend request from Pastor Maria’s personal YouVersion account (Maria Iacovino Jones). Please allow 2-3 days for this step to happen. If you have not received a friend request after 3 days, send us a text at 845-320-4483.
Step 4: Accept Plan Invite
Once you have accepted Pastor Maria’s friend request, you will receive a notification at the start of every plan. You must accept the invitation to each plan in order to be involved in the communal feature of the study. Your notifications can be found by tapping the bell icon on the top right corner, next to your profile image. Once you have accepted the plan invite, you can navigate to your plans by tapping the Plans icon on the bottom of your screen.
You can change your church on the app at any time and still receive the studies. Should you wish to no longer receive the study plans, let us know by sending a text to 845-320-4483.
