The Journey Women’s Group is a casual monthly meetup that provides a space for women to connect, relate, and support one another. The group typically meets on the third Saturday of each month, September through June. You do not need to be a member of The Journey to attend.

Strategic Service Sunday
Strategic Service Sunday is scheduled for Sunday, May 24, 2026.
We will not gather for our usual Sunday service that day. Instead, our building will be closed as we intentionally step into our communities to serve through meaningful acts of kindness ✨
Strategic Service Sunday creates space for each of us to take initiative and live out our faith through personal, community-centered acts of kindness. Rather than gathering for a church-organized service project or attending a scheduled event, it’s an intentional pause that invites each of us to take ownership of serving our community. Whether you choose to serve on your own, with your family, or alongside a group of friends, every act of kindness matters.
Be Intentional: Identify and commit to an act of kindness that resonates with you.
Be Inclusive: Whether you act as an individual, with your family, or part of a group, every effort counts. Partner with an organization or design your own unique act of kindness.
Be Kind: There's no right or wrong way to participate—it's all about spreading kindness.
Church attendance is never enough. We are a community of active contributors!

Graduation Celebrations!
Journey Church Graduation Celebration 2026
Each year, we take a moment to celebrate the amazing graduates in our Journey Church family! If you or your student is graduating and would like to be recognized during one of our services, please fill out the form by May 31, 2026.

We will be officially honoring our graduates during the service on Sunday, June 28th. But the party doesn’t stop there! Stick around after the service as we keep the celebration going with an ice cream truck for the whole church family. It’s going to be a great day of fellowship and treats!
A Note on Privacy & Celebration
Our goal is to honor every graduate in a way that makes them feel supported and respected. While this presentation will not be shared online and will only be displayed internally during our in-person service, we encourage you to involve your student in this process.
Collaborate with your Graduate: We recommend sitting down with your student to fill out this form together. Asking them which achievements or details they are most excited to share ensures they feel celebrated in a way that honors their personal boundaries and preferences.

Caroling at Glen Arden
Don’t miss out on a very special opportunity to spread some Christmas cheer at Glen Arden Nursing Home! We’ll be singing carols and sharing season’s greetings with the residents. This event is organized by our Student Ministry, but we warmly invite everyone to join us in this time of giving and community.

Thanksgiving Community Service
All are welcome to join us for a Thanksgiving Community Service on Tuesday, November 25th at 7 PM. This time is dedicated to unity and gratefulness, as we come together with local faith leaders and their congregations.
Diapers, Wipes & Socks for Tots Drive
Our Journey students are leading a meaningful Act of Kindness this month: a Diapers, Wipes & Socks for Tots Drive! They’ll be collecting brand-new diapers, baby wipes, and socks (NB–5T) to support the Baby Steps Baby Pantry in Newburgh, NY, which provides essential supplies to families with infants and toddlers experiencing diaper insecurity, because all babies deserve dry diapers.
If you’d like to take part, donations can be dropped off at the church on November 9, 16, and 23 between 10AM–12PM. Your generosity will make a real difference for local families in need.
JumpStreet Bowling Night
Get ready for a night of strikes and spares at JumpStreet Bowling Night on October 10th from 7-9 PM! This event is open to all middle and high school students. Parents can drop off and pick up their kids directly at the bowling alley for a fun, supervised evening. Be sure to check out our JumpStreet’s Instagram for any updates.

Castle Fun Center
JumpStreet will be at The Castle Fun Center on January 31, 2025.
All youth in middle and high school are invited. Parents can drop off and pickup their youth at The Castle.
CPR Certification Class
We’re hosting a CPR Certification Class on Saturday, February 17th at 10 AM. This class is free and open to anyone interested in learning CPR. However, if you want an official certification through the American Heart Association, the fee is $25 and certification lasts for 2 years.
